As such, DVBC is in the running for the Cygnus Awards Grand Prize! The results will be announced this coming Tuesday at the local Chanticleer Author’s Conference. Wish me luck, and I’ll announce the results as soon as I know!
In the meanwhile, some good news for my Bellingham fans: I will have my books for sale at the upcoming FREE and family friendly Books By The Bay festival in Bellingham, WA from September 27-29, 2015 at the Bellwether Hotel Ballroom 11am-6:30pm.
RSVP on Facebook here: http://bit.ly/BBBFair or just swing by! I’d love to see you! I’ll be in good company with many independent and traditionally published authors from all over the country, including several other local authors!
I’ll be officially signing books on Tuesday at 2 PM, but I’ll be around all three days of the event so I will be happy to meet you and sign your book anytime, just let me know when you are coming!
Don’t miss a great chance to pick up my latest book, Dream of a City of Ruin, if you haven’t already! Copies of Dream of a Vast Blue Cavern will be available as well. Buy at least one of my books during the event, and pick out your FREE DoQ Beastie fridge magnet (pictured below)!
This is the third year for this growing book sale event. Books by the Bay began as “Books and Brews” at the Boundary Bay Brewery in 2013 as a co-hosted Chanticleer Reviews and Whatcom Writers and Publishers event. The WWP continues to support the event in its new incarnation as Books By the Bay. It is a valuable event for the community, and a great place for local and visiting authors to gain exposure. Attending this event is a great way to to support authors and small businesses! I hope to see you there!
